Great ADHD books: Soon to be released and classics!

An exciting new ADD-friendly book is due out fall of 2011, The ADHD Awareness Book Project’s, 365 ways to succeed with ADHD: A Full Year’s Worth of Valuable Tips and Strategies from the Word’s Best Coaches and Experts.

This book, due out in October of 2011, will be just in time to celebrate ADHD Awareness Week 2011! It is the work of over 80 ADHD experts from across the globe and from a variety of disciplines. Professionals from the medical, nursing, educational, research, legal, finance, organizational, nutritional, etc., fields have submitted their best tips and strategies for succeeding with ADHD. There is something for everybody in a very add friendly/tip per page format. Some notable co-authors of this book include: Sari Solden, author of Women with Attention Deficit Disorder, Nancy Ratey author of The Disorganized Mind: Coaching Your ADHD Brain to Take Control of Your Time, Tasks, and Talents, Terry Matlen author of Survival Tips for Women with AD/HD: Beyond Piles, Palms, & Post-its, Marie Paxson, past president of CHADD, Robert Tudisco, current CEO of the Edge Foundation and Robb Garrett current president of the ADHD Coaches Association (ACO). A terrific one-of-a-kind resource for people with ADHD!

Kate Kelly & Peggy Ramundo (2006) You Mean I’m Not Lazy, Stupid or Crazy

The best way I can describe this book is that it is the “How to” for understanding Adult ADHD. This book was one of the first written about adult ADHD and continues to be a solid pioneer about Adult ADHD. It is thorough in its information and entertaining throughout.

Linda Roggli’s (2011) Confession of an ADDiva: Midlife in the Non-linear Lane

A great new book on the market for women with ADHD! Linda is the quintessential ADDiva and writes about her life with ADD in a very candid, funny and completely engaging way! Once you start you will not want to put it down…and I will tell you now to buy two copies because you will definitely want to give this book to one of your ADDiva friends!

Ari Tuckman’s More Attention, Less Deficit: Success Strategies for Adults with ADHD

Ari’s book is straight forward, clear, comprehensive and to-the-point. Despite the wealth of information presented, it is a very easy read, formatted specifically with the ADD brain in mind. Each section and topics are in professional yet easily understood language, with a great summary at the end! If you are just finding out about ADHD, this is a great book to have on your shelf.

Nancy Ratey’s The Disorganized Mind: Coaching Your ADHD Brain to Take Control of Your Time, Tasks, and Talents

Nancy is one of the founders of ADHD Coaching and as such has over 15 years of experience to draw from when writing her book. Her approach for getting back control of our lives follows this coaching approach, helping us become self-empowered in managing our challenges.

I am a big fan of You Mean I’m Not Lazy, Stupid or Crazy. This is a great list of resources. I had no idea that the “365” book had come out. http://www.adultswithadd.net is another great site with links to well-respected books.

Online courses are taking over the land-based course.
Those studies have found that people, especially
women, who subscribe or regularly read certain types of magazines may weigh less, get more exercise and also tend to have far better overall diets than those
who read other types. They provide professional customer service to ensure that theiir customers are
satisfied with the placements that they receive.

The local technology community is currently going through growing
pains and attempting to support itself through scouting labor
from technology hubs, growing technology programs att local
colleges and universities, as well as securing fundding from angel investors and venture capital firms.
And the membership option is truly something that you would be finding an opportunity
to discover more of inner adventurous nature. The Golden Eggs are sometimes obvious, and sometimes not so much.

One of the most important means to be equipped with the skills and
knowpedge about proper patient care is by attending pediatric advanced life support or PALS classes to be able to
further improve one’s life-saving skills. In order to get the most out of such training,
it is advisable to invest in a training center that offers
the full range of courses you will need. Cardio pulmonary
resuscitation (CPR) is only a part of ACLS.

In reality, I don’t recommend online only life support classes at all.
Besides the CPR and first aid certification programs, the health institutes in Chicago provide
other health related training courses like Basic Life Support (BLS) training, Automated External Defibrillayor (AED) training, Bloodborne Pathogen training, Pediatric Advanced
Life Support (PALS) training, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
training and many more emergency process. There are no signs of breathing or response
    to the rescuer.

Online courses are taking over the land-based
course. It is indeed an extension of basic life
support BLS. Medical individuals who completed an ACLS or Advanced Cardiac Liffe Support course need tto renew their certification every two years.

You can begin the course immediately or return at a later date
to accomplish this program. Many people bear the
impression that BLS is as good as medical treatment
provided bby the health care experts. The online courses will be conducted by the best instructors of American Heart Association and students will be certified with American Heart Association Heart saver Completion Card after successful completion of the
    CPR training session.

Today, entire college programs are done online and students
are noow able to earnn degrees with minimal class room time.

In order to get the most out of such training,
it is advisable to invest iin a training center that
offers the full range of courses you will need. Some people will prefer to teach
    CPR to the general public.
